About the results on this page
This page covers running results from across the globe — from the biggest championships and elite meetings to road races and smaller competitive events. The focus is on professional and semi-professional running, where athletes push for fast times and competitive performances at every level.
Major championships and meetings
You will find results from the world’s most prestigious athletics competitions, including the World Athletics Championships, European Athletics Championships, Olympic Games, and Commonwealth Games. Diamond League meetings — such as the Bislett Games in Oslo, Prefontaine Classic in Eugene, Zurich Diamond League, and Weltklasse Zürich — are also covered, alongside Continental Tour events and other high-level international meetings.
Road running
The page includes results from major road races and marathon majors, including the London Marathon, Berlin Marathon, Boston Marathon, Chicago Marathon, New York City Marathon, and Tokyo Marathon. Shorter road races such as 5km and 10km events, as well as half marathons from around the world, are also represented.
Smaller events and local races
Not all fast running happens at the biggest stages. This page also tracks results from smaller competitive meetings and road races where athletes record strong performances — often outside the global spotlight, but still relevant for anyone following professional running closely.
A growing database
The results database is continuously updated as new events are completed throughout the athletics season. In time, dedicated country pages will make it even easier to explore results and statistics by nation — whether you are following Norwegian athletics, British distance running, Kenyan marathon runners, or American sprinters.
